Nissan Unveils Datsun GO As Its Latest Car In Indian

Nissan has launched its latest model called Datsun Go in India. This hatchback marks the re-entry of the car after 30 long years. The already competitive market in India is full of big brands vying for customer attention and money. It won’t be easy for Nissan. Let us check out Datsun Go features list. The car is available in two versions; diesel and petrol.

Exteriors: This Nissan hatchback looks attractive. The aerodynamic design gives it a sporty appearance. The hexagonal front grille stands out and is very noticeable. Nissan has loaded this Datsun model with 13 inch wheels.

Interiors: In the interior, Datsun Go is quite spacious. The seats are adjustable. Their upholstery too is of very good quality.  The legroom is very comfortable. One of the interesting features is the gear box. It is integrated into dashboard. The steering wheel comes with brand logo on it. The dashboard does not have a glove box but instead open storage space has been given. The seating capacity is of 5 adults.

Engine and performance: An 1198cc 1.2litre petrol engine powers the car. It is a 12 valve engine. This engine is capable of generating an output of 75bhp maximum power and 104Nm of torque. The engine has been paired up with 5 manual transmission gears. A mileage of about 18-20kmpl (city) and 12-15kmpl (highway) can be expected.

Brakes: The front tyres have disc brakes while the rear tyres have drum brakes. You also get McPherson Strut up suspensions with front tyres and Torsion Beam with rear tyres.

Miscellaneous: There is an audio system along with powerful AC. The dashboard also has powerful AC Vents. There is also a mobile phone charger.

The Nissan Datsun Go’s price in India is expected to be less than 4 lacs. The car will be available in three variants; base, mid-spec, top. It will be competing with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Alto, Hyundai Eon for customer’s attention.
