Samsung unveiled its latest Android smartphone for mid-range category called the Galaxy Grand. It will be available in two variants; single SIM and dual-SIM. As seen in earlier smartphones from Samsung this one too is a combination of slim and neat and polished finishing.Read on to know what else the smartphone has to offer to the prospective buyers.
As seen in most of the smartphones that have been recently launched by major mobile makers the Galaxy Grand too will come loaded with the latest Android flavor of Jelly Bean. And to enjoy the best of it there is the 5inch WVGA touchscreen with 800 x 480 pixels. For a mid-range smartphone a 1.2GHz dual-core processor should definitely be good news for the buyers. Even though this is a mid-range smartphone, the two cameras (8mp at the back and a 2mp at the front) will definitely cheer up the photography enthusiasts who love taking photos on their handset.
Add to it the microSD card slot which expands the internal memory from 8GB to 32GB and the smartphone gets even more attractive and tempting. The battery is another reason to await Samsung Galaxy Grand. Expect the smartphone to deliver long talktime and standby time courtesy the powerful 2100 mAh battery. The phone is a DLNA device which will enable the users to connect to other DLNA devices such as TV, laptops, mobile phones. Samsung has retained some of its popular features that were seen in its earlier smartphones. One of those is the S Voice which is voice command software. Another is the Pop up Play allows the user to watch video as well as send message or email at the same time. If you decide to call the person whom you are messaging then the Direct Call feature will do it for you. Simply place the phone near your ear and the software will do the rest.
